TEACHING SIMPLE PAST TENSE IN NARRATIVE TEXT USING ANIMATION MOVIE THROUGH ONLINE LEARNING

The paper discusses the effectiveness of teaching simple past tense in narrative text using animation movie to increase students’ grammar achievement at Eight grade students SMP 1 Ngabang. purpose this research was investigate effect through online learning Negeri Ngabang Academic Year 2021/2022. method pre- experimental with one group pretest-posttest design. sample Eighth that consisted 7 students. data collected measurement technique. result is analyzed by t-test. t-ratio 9.58 higher than t-critical 2.093 on table distribution α =0.05. Therefore, alternative hypothesis (Ha) which stated “Teaching an affect Eight-grade accepted. It showed affects tense.
